Forever His 2019
Forever His is a ministry specifically designed to teach God’s Word to children with special needs while providing a much needed respite day for parents and other caregivers.
This year's main event will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2019 from 9am to 12pm.
We offer hands-on Bible learning for children with moderate to severe disabilities ages 3 to 6th grade. This year we will focus on the Fruit of the Spirit. The children will rotate through different stations where they will have the opportunity to participate in Bible themed, developmentally appropriate activities including water play, black lights, rice and sand tables, crafts, puppets and more.
We will provide a gluten free snack during the day. Please note: there is an area in the registration form for parents and caregivers to inform us of any dietary concerns and/or restrictions.
A hospitality room will be available for any parents who wish to stay and relax while their child participates in the day's activities.
Our facilities are designed to accommodate a variety of children with different needs. We have a wheelchair ramp leading into the building, handicap accessible bathrooms, changing tables, and a quiet room for any child who may need it.
We will have special education teachers and trained nurses on staff to help facilitate this event. Each child will be paired with experienced "buddies" who will assist them and tend to their needs throughout this special day.
Each child will receive a Forever His t-shirt and a picture with their "buddies." Additionally, we offer a keepsake DVD with slide show pictures from the day.
Our space is limited to 15 children so please register as soon as possible. Registrations will be taken until on November 2, 2019 or when full. Once full, names will be placed on a waiting list in the order in which they were received. If your child is placed on the waiting list, we will inform you if an opening becomes available.
